The Aero Simulation, Inc. Instructor Operator Station (IOS) provides a point-and-click graphical user interface (GUI) for controlling a flight simulator. Using mouse clicks, the user can control the mode of the trainer, view or update simulation parameters, and control malfunctions to be introduced during the simulation. A display window provides status information from the simulation.The IOS can be tailored to match the requirements of a specific device and utilizes personal computer (PC) technology using the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.Hardware components:
