Tampa, Florida (February 28, 2022) — Aero Simulation Inc. (ASI) announced its latest win to continue supporting Air Education and Training Command (AETC) for the T-1A Ground Based Training System (GBTS). The effort includes the provision of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) operations, cybersecurity, and engineering modifications and upgrades to support undergraduate Pilot and Combat Systems Officer (CSO) training at bases across the Continental United States (CONUS). The T-1A GBTS is used to provide intermediate level training in piloting multi-engine aircraft and operating navigation and sensor equipment. This effort is a Delivery Order under ASI’s Training Systems Acquisition (TSA) III contract facilitated by the Simulators Program Office (SPO) of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Agile Combat Support Directorate. The work to be performed will provide support directly to AETC for the production of quality pilots and CSO’s.

“ASI is pleased to retain this program that we have enjoyed executing over the last several years,” said Mike Conti, Chief Executive Officer, ASI.  “Working with AETC and the SPO has been a pleasure and we appreciate their vote of confidence in the way we have delivered on our commitments under this and other AETC programs thus far. We will continue to deliver top-notch support for the T-1A students and instructors and look forward to future collaboration with these great customers. We thank AETC, the SPO, and our team of professionals supporting these devices at the various locations around the country.”

ASI supports AETC and the SPO as an awardee on the Basic Ordering Agreement for Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) technologies, as the prime contractor for the T-1A and T-38C Training Systems, which consist of various fidelity aircrew training devices across multiple sites, and as the developer of the Remote Simulator Instructor prototype. ASI has been very successful in capturing programs as an incumbent because of their team’s superior performance, cost effective solutions, and customer satisfaction.
