Under subcontract to CACI, a provider of information solutions and services  – CMS Information Systems, Inc., Aero Simulation Inc. (ASI) has completed delivery of the first of two EP-3E Flight Training Devices.  Developed as part of CACI’s EP-3E Aries II Mission Avionics System Trainer (MAST), ASI’s Front End Reconfigurable Flight Training Devices (RFTD) provides comprehensive training for the Pilot, Copilot and Flight Engineer on this aircraft platform.  The devices utilize P-3C Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) software tailored to an EP-3E configuration and include a 160° field of view visual system and fully loaded primary flight controls.  These fully featured trainers provide the means to train normal and emergency procedures in both standalone and couple training modes. The first device was delivered to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington and was designated Ready for Training (RFT) in July of 2012.  The second device will be delivered to Whidbey Island in FY13.
