Job Description:
|
- Requires familiarity with information assurance/cyber security in a DoD environment
- Understanding of network and system architecture design principles and concepts
- Hands-on action with DoD security auditing tools, common protocols, enterprise backup and recovery, log aggregation, virtual machines, configuration and administration of firewall devices
- Routine hardening of MS Windows and Red Hat Linux systems in accordance with NIST SP 800-53
- Familiarity with scripting in both Linux and Windows environments would be useful
- Collaborative involvement with engineers to merge security baselines with functional simulation subsystem software and mitigate any consequential operational or performance issues
- Involves executing technical procedures, interpreting and compiling vulnerability audit results, and assembling technical document packages for security accreditation review
- Entails sustaining various server applications, e.g. enterprise back-up, centralized update services, HBSS/ACAS in a multi-platform environment
- Maintenance tasks involving centralized backups, antivirus updates and scans, audit log oversight and security compliance scans
- Administrative tasks involving access control and account management, operating system and software updates, incident response, audit log review, configuration management, and assessment tool updates
- Conduct Cyber awareness training for Contractor Operations and Maintenance Service (COMS) personnel.
- Assist with Simulator Technician tasks, such as daily operational readiness, basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, etc.

Job Requirements:
|
- 1-3 years’ experience in IT field or security administration IAT Level II certification or above
- Experience with all MS Windows Operating Systems (MCSE considered a plus)
- Experience with RedHat Linux Operating Systems (RHCSA considered a plus)
- Familiarity with Active Directory administration and Group Policy Object deployment
- Familiarity with common protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, Syslog, SNMP
- Understanding of SCAP/OVAL Benchmark, SecurityCenter/Nessus, HyperV, SELinux, Microsoft SQL Server would be valuable
- Familiarity with flight simulator operations and maintenance with ability to perform entry level Simulator Technician tasks would be useful
- MUST be a U.S. Citizen AND have a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level
- ASI is a Drug Free Workplace so candidate must be able to pass entry and random drug testing
