Job Description:  

he Network Architect’s primary responsibility will be as a subject matter expert during the design, development, and deployment phases of an enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) project.  They will also be heavily involved in the deployment, troubleshooting, and analysis of equipment and services at other locations.

Job Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of enterprise routing technologies (EIGRP, OSPF, NHRP, mBGP/IBGP/EBGP, VRFs, static routing, route redistribution, & route summarization)
  • Expert knowledge of tunneling and encryption/encapsulation technologies (DMVPN, IPsec, mGRE/GRE)
  • Expert knowledge of Multicast routing (PIM Sparse/Dense)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification required
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching certification is preferred
  • Candidates must meet DoD 8570 requirements for an IAT Level II position, including an active CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent.
  • Must have a current DoD Secret
  • MUST be a U.S. Citizen
  • ASI is Drug Free Workplace so candidate must be able to pass entry and random drug testing.
