C-2A OFT Tech Refresh

Customer: U.S. Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD)

User: U.S. Navy Carrier Airborne Early Warning Training Squadron VAW-120 and Fleet Replenishment Squadrons VRC-30 (San Diego) and VRC-40 (Norfolk)

ASI provided a major technical refresh to the C-2A training devices including rehosting the Host and Instructor Station computers, upgrading the image generator for the Norfolk device, and upgrading the Input/Output system.  ASI also implemented a simulation of the NP-2000 propeller system simulation which required retuning of the flight dynamics model.  Another major modification was the integration of the Rockwell Collins Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) system into both devices.
