ASI received a contract from NAWCTSD for the development, fabrication, and testing of modifications to the 3 CH-46E WSTs and 1 UH-1N WST.

The multi-year upgrade effort required the delivery of major Baseline Configuration Upgrades to the CH-46E WSTs located at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Camp Pendleton, California (CA), and MCAS Miramar, CA, as well as the UH-1N WST located at the MCAS Camp Pendleton, CA.

The Baseline Configuration Upgrade requirements included visual system upgrades, Host Computer, and Instructor Operator Station rehosts, and the correction of several complex operational discrepancies.

The program also included requirements to implement Engineering Change Proposal configuration upgrades to improve trainer concurrency with fleet aircraft configurations at each site, in addition to CH-46E WSTs located at MCAS New River, NC and Futenma, Japan.

ASI upgraded each trainer to reflect the latest aircraft configuration, increase training system reliability and performance, and reduced total life cycle support costs for all levels of training and maintenance for these four devices.

ASI also provided Program Management and Logistics Support services to support the successful completion of this program.
