Under the comprehensive E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Integrated Training System for Aircrew (HITS-II) Program, as a subcontractor to Rockwell Collins, ASI was supporting the development of a state-of-the-art, fully integrated training system for E-2D aircrew, including Pilots and Naval Flight Officers.
This effort included the development of a new Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) for NAS Pt. Mugu, CA. Additional efforts included concurrency upgrades to the OFT and Aircrew Procedures Trainers (APTs) delivered to NAS Norfolk and the APT delivered to NAS Pt. Mugu under HITS-A.
