FlightSafety Services Corporation (FSSC) had a contract to support the U.S. Air Force’s KC-135 Flight Training Devices at ScottAir Force Base. 

This sub-contract to FSSC required of ASI:

Upgrade KC-135 TSSC Development Computer

  • Support and assist FSSC during PMI Inspection of TSSC computer system and KC-135E WST.
  • Upgrade current TSSC computer processor boards to a 3200-2000
  • Upgrade current TSSC computer to the most current released version of the operating system, OS/32 10.1.2

Upgrade KC-135E WST Computer

  • Update WST device handlers and service call routines for OS/32 9.22
  • Upgrade current WST computer to the operating system, OS/32 9.22
  • Upgrade current WST CPU #2 boards to a 3200-2000, move all CPU #1 peripheral interfaces to CPU #2,  & power off CPU #1
  • Upgrade the WST computer to the most current released version of the operating system, OS/32 10.1.2
