BGI-ASI Joint Venture, formed between BGI LLC and Aero Simulation, Inc., has been awarded a single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling $202 Million over five years to develop the next generation of Integrated Navigation, Seamanship, and Shiphandling Trainers (NSST) by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.

Forty years ago, on December 20, 1983, Joe Fernandez established Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) to support local Government contractors utilizing his expertise in Flight Dynamics modeling. During its initial decade, ASI expanded to a dedicated team of six, all specializing in flight simulation. In 1993, the company marked a significant milestone by securing its first prime contract with the U.S. Navy, followed by contracts for the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Marine Corps in 1995.

ASI announces Paul Kralovanec’s promotion to the position of Vice President of Engineering. With over 29 years of dedicated service to our company, Paul has proven himself in various key roles, including Flight Dynamics Engineer, Flight Dynamics Group Leader, Project Engineer, and most recently, Director of Engineering for the past five and a half years.
