ASI Appoints Joel Jolley as Vice President of Business Development

Tampa, FL (January 2, 2024) – ASI, a leading provider of simulation and training products and services, is excited to announce Joel Jolley's appointment to Vice President of Business Development following the retirement of Russ Shepard, an ASI veteran of 27 years. Since joining the ASI team, Joel has been pivotal in ASI's expansion, playing a key role in the company's growth, including capturing multiple new and recompeted programs, and securing their first Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract.

As VP of Business Development, Joel will report directly to Mike Conti, ASI’s President and CEO, and take on executive-level duties, further fueling ASI's path of advancement and success. Leading the Business Development team, Joel will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, partnerships, and continuing ASI’s strong tradition of customer satisfaction.  

Prior to his appointment, Joel worked as a senior business development director with ASI, and a manager within the military simulation market. His technical background includes work as a simulation Subject Matter Expert and Test Director. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he flew as an Instructor Weapons Systems Officer on the B-1B including two combat deployments. Joel graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy.
