ASI Wins Single-Award IDIQ Trainer Development III with $100M Ceiling 

Tampa, FL (April 22, 2025) – Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) has been awarded the Trainer Development (TD) III contract, a single-award indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract supporting the 502d Trainer Development Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph. This contract, issued through the General Services Administration (GSA), with a contract ceiling of $100 Million has a maximum performance period of five years. 

 

Under this contract, ASI will provide engineering services and work on design and development projects to enhance joint training systems hardware and software. The scope of work spans a broad range of training solutions, ranging from fuselage trainers to joint simulation software, ensuring mission-ready training capabilities that align with evolving operational needs. ASI will support task orders as requested by the government, to provide adaptable and innovative solutions to enhance training effectiveness.

The previous TD II contract was a multiple award contract while this follow-on is now a single award to ASI. Historical work on the contract has included device relocations, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) related software and hardware, aircraft simulators software and hardware, and other engineering services. The contract vehicle is available to be used by other U.S. Government organizations in coordination with GSA.
